FAQs :)

What is your design philosophy?

I follow the principle of Kaizen (continuous improvement)โ€” and begin by thoroughly understanding the problem rather than jumping into solutions. I believe in starting with a validated MVP that meets usability, accessibility, and content criteria before scaling further.

At an organizational level, design is a team sport. I collaborate actively with both internal and external stakeholders and aim to reduce ambiguity through documentation, storytelling, and proactive communication.

I'm a curious, self-driven designer who asks questions, works with minimal dependency, and adapts the process based on project context and constraints. Ideally, research is woven into the entire product lifecycle to based design with clarity and intent.

Why did you get into design?

Since my earliest memories of childhood I remember collecting paper clippings of house interiors and designs as I aspired to become an architect. Though that enthusiasm resulted in a decently decorated house, I eventually studied to become an Engineer who wanted to build products to problem solve. As I started working in software development, the lack of good user experience during product life cycle seemed evident. Drive to creatively problem solve in the early stages of development and opportunity to follow my instincts with conviction, effective storytelling and create an impact made me pursue my Masterโ€™s in Human Computer Interaction- where I could use analytical thinking to make everyday product experiences better.
